- Dividend policy is the duty of directors and management so that the magnitude of insider ownership to be a determining factor in the company's dividend. Dividend policywill also be based on the availability of cash flow can be held so that the dividends are paid. Growth opportunities in the market reflect investor perceptions of the company'scapital. The amount of leverage that the company will affect its dividend policy because ofthe greater leverage of companies reflects the greater use of debt rather than equity firmcompany. This study will analyze the influence of insider ownership, growth opportunities, leverage, cash flow and dividend policy. This study used 145 samples are then taken to be the beginning of the study sample withpurposive sampling method. After going through the process of selecting a sample, the study selected 15 samples that meet the criteria. The results of this study indicate that insider ownership and cash flow have an influence on dividend policy. Growth opportunities and leverage has no effect on dividend policy.
