- The filtration process using membrane technology is a modification of Taylor-Couette flow, ie flow between two concentric rotating cylinders with axial and radial flow, utilize vortex that occurs in Taylor-Couette flow will increase the efficiency of the filter. This research was conducted to know the effect of the inner cylinder rotation on Taylor-Couette Poiseuille flow patterns and torque in the cylinder that serves as a porous membrane. This research was conducted by using a test section in the form of two concentric cylinders, which in the porous rotating cylinder and stationary outer cylinder while the length 500 mm, the radius ratio of 0.72
