  • The aim of this research is to know the influence of career planning in career aspiration of the employee. Every employee needs to have a high career aspiration which is relevant with ongoing job. Low career aspiration in work life will result in the lack of passion and productivity of the employee. The relevancy of career aspiration with the job should be identified as early as possible. To identify and to improve their career aspiration, employee will be given a career planning program as the intervention. By using a quasiexperimental design, this study aims to determine the influence of career planning workshop on employeeâ��s career aspiration at the X Hotel. The subject of this research will be divided into two groups (experimental group and control group). Career aspiration of the subject will be measured by using a career aspiration scale (Oâ��Brien, 1993). The measurement will be given to all subjects in both of the group but with the different timing. In the experimental group, the measurement will be given before the implementation of career planning workshop (pre-test) and after the workshop (post-test). In the control group, the measurement will also be given in the form of pre-test and post-test, but the career planning workshop will only be held after the research process was completed. The research hypothesis will be tested using mixed anava analysis. Anava mixed results, with suggests that career planning program can significantly improve career aspiration of the employee (F=31.018, p<0.05).
