- This study proposed to answer the problem in this study. The main problem in this study is "How to solve the delimition dispute in the Indonesia�s sea." The next main problem: first, how to solve the delimition dispute in the Indonesia�s sea. Second, what are the barrier and supporting factors in the dispute settlement efforts of delimition in the Indoensia�s sea. Third, what are the solutions to solve the dispute of delimition in the Insonesia�s sea. This research is normative, so the method uses a normative research method. This study explain the regulation about the dispute settlement efforts of delimition in the Indonesia�s sea. The mindset of this research uses the inductive mindset, that is describing the specific problem about the dispute settlement efforts of delimition in the Indonesia�s sea, then relate to the instrument of International Sea Law. From the analysis, the authors conclude that first, the dispute settlement efforts of delimition in the Indonesia�s sea which has a strategic role is negotiation because the agreement between Indonesia and neighboring countries can represent the will of the parties and be adapted the conditions of each country. Second, the the barrier factors to solve the dispute settlement of delimition in the Indonesia�s sea can be affected by various factors, among others: juridical, diplomatic, and technical factors. While supporting factors that affect the dispute settlement of delimition in the Indonesia�s sea are the clarity of the archipleago concept and the success negotiation of Indonesian�s diplomats to determine the delimition of Indonesia�s sea. Third, based on problems in the dispute settlement efforts of delimition in the Indonesia�s sea, need the solution on each sea zone, that are the solution in the Territorial Sea, Contiguos Zone, EEZ, and Continental Shelf.
