- The study about charf in Arabic language is one of the step to understand about Arabic because charf was one of type of the sentence in Arabic except ism and fi�l which are in Arabic sentence, the appearance of charf before verb (fi�l) cause the charakat/vocal alteration according to the function of charf, however sometimes charf was not function as well because of some reasons. So it is necesary to discuss about particle. This research discusses about charf nashab and jazm because both are the charf types in Arabic which cause charakat/vocal alteration to imperfect verb in Arabic. In this analysis, subjunctive particle was divide in to fourth parths, thouse are: to change modus indicative to modus subjunctive with them self, to change modus indikatif to modus subjunctive with tehm self or by inserting an mudhmarah wujūban, to change modus indicative to modus subjunctive only by inserting an mudhmarah wujūban, and to change modus indikatif to modus subjunctive only by inserting an mudhmarah jaw�zan. Meanwhile jussive particle (charf jazm) is devide to two parths, thouse are to change one modus indikatif to modus jussive and to change two modus indikatif to modus jussive. The data used in this discusses are obtained from the books on standar Arabic grammar. The data collected are analysed by using distributional method, substitution and elision teqniques. The result of the discusses shows that subjunctive particle (charf nashab) and jussive particle (charf jazm) have other fungction and other meanings.
