Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) is a State Owned Enterprise (SOE)
which was established in 1973. As one of those who has brilliant business
performances in Indonesia, all shares of PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) are
owned by the Republic of Indonesia. The insurance industry developments in this
country were quite encouraging. In line with national economic growth, the
performance of the industry is also getting better. In 2010, PT Asuransi Jasa
Indonesia recorded a net income of IDR 194.25 billion. The amount increase
around 17% compare to previous year. However, the increase in gross premiums,
net premiums, and underwriting result in 2010 was not able to make PT Asuransi
Jasa Indonesia for being the top 10 in the insurance industry nationwide.
Based on the Company's Strategic Plan, the balance of portfolio business
has not achieved the targeted goals, which is the balance between corporate and
retail segments. Consider the increasing composition of retail premium portfolio
