- This study aims to determine the effect of creative climate, transformational leadership, and perceptions of team diversity on employee�s innovative work behavior of PT TELKOM Indonesia in Yogyakarta. This study hypothesized that creative climate, transformational leadership, and perceptions of team diversity affect the innovative work behavior of employees. Initial test was done initially to test for validity and reliability of the measuring instruments used. The results of this initial test eliminates four items statements of perception team diversity's variables, Cronbach's alpha values ranging from 0.643 to 0.838, so reliability in this study can be said to be good. The researcher used a nonprobability sampling method, and the categories of nonprobability sampling is aimed at purposive sampling with quota sampling. Based on the criterion that the employee has work experience of at least six months , with at least high school education background, and they were asked to generate ideas and innovative work behavior. Respondents came from seven divisions from PT TELKOM Indonesia in Yogyakarta, namely: Access Division, Division of Consumer Services, Division of Enterprise Services, Division of Telecom Infrastructure, Telkom Flexi division, Finance Billing & Collection Center, and HR Center. Number of sample in this study is 115 employees. Instrument in this study used creative climate�s questionnaire by Gaddis et al (2003), transformational leadership�s questionnaire by Bass and Avolio (1995), team diversity questionnaire, adapted from Van der Vegt and Bunderson (in Vivi Pohan, 2010), and innovative work behavior�s questionnaire developed by Jansenn (in Dorenbosch et al, 2005). Each research instrument used five point scale. The higher scores of this measurement shows that the variables included in this study is get better. Analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis statistics and inferential statistical analysis (multiple linear regression and the t- test). The results obtained in this regression formula is Y = 36,803 + 0,045 Xa + 0,238 Xb - 0,249 Xc, and the t- test results indicate that the creative climate has no significant influence on the innovative work behavior (significance value of 0.574), whereas transformational leadership and the perception of team diversity has a significant influence towards innovative work behavior (significant value of 0.030 and 0.012).
