Daftar Isi:
- The handling speed of loading and unloading containers at the port is one of service to the container ship that docked at the wharf. To support this, Tanjung Emas Port has a special terminal to handle containers since 2001. The data since 2001 untul 2010 indicate that the flow of containers through Semarang Container Terminal (SCT) have increased each year trend So is the average dimensions of ships calls. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the SCT master plan againts the existing of container flow and ships calls and to analyze SCT master plan that meets the needs up to 2030. The research was conducted by evaluating the existing condition based on standards and the need facilities based on container flow and ships calls. Regression method was conducted to predict container flow and ships calls whose results are used to determine the development SCT master plan until 2030. The results of study show that the existing conditions of loading and unloading equipment, wharf, CFS warehouse, exports container yard (CY 01 and CY 05), and dangerous goods containers yard (CY 02) still meet the needs until 2030. The need for deep and wide of navigation channel, and the depth of port pool already exceeds the existing condition. The depth of navigation channel and port pool should be deepened to 13 m and 12 m. The wide of navigation channel should be widened to 146 m. The need for reefer container yard at CY 01, behandle and ex-behandle container yard (CY 03 and CY 04), and empty container yard (CY 06) has exceeded existing conditions. The space for reefer containers is expanded up to 4570 m2. The excess of behandle and empty container is placed at the CY 01 imports. In 2016, the needs of CY 01 imports area will exceed the existing area. CY 01 import expansion is done by adding a block or 9182 m2 in 2015. The needs for an empty container yard is predicted to be less than CY 04 area in 2022, so that empty containers can be placed on the CY 04 and container ex-behandle in CY 06 in that year
