- This research aims to determine the force of law of contract construction work associated with the principles of freedom of contract, and responsibilities of the parties in the execution of construction contracts connected with the freedom of the parties. The approach in this research is judicial normative research, that is a research approach problem by reviewing law materials. The type off this research is literature study which is supported by field study. Collected data, primary and secondary, is analyzed qualitatively that is by descripting and explaining problems. Based on the results of research and discussion can be stated that the construction work contract as a standard contract in the perspective of the principle of freedom of contract remains a contract that has legal force because of construction work contract is not contrary to law, morals and public order as the limiting principle of freedom of contract validity. Then the provisions of responsibility of users and providers of construction services in the construction work contract in the perspective of the principle of feedom of contract with a legal force of binding on the parties.
