- The adat society of Bali has generally two forms of marriages, biasa marriage and nyeburin or nyentana marriage. If man and woman are single children to marry, they cannot choose existing form of marriage, because it will cause lineage break (cemput/putung) of one side. Therefore, single male and female of the family can choose alternative marriage out of two forms of marriages mentioned above, negen dadua marriages. This research used juridical-sociological approach. Data used in this research were primary and secondary data. The data were collected by field research and reference study. Technique of data collection used in the reference study was documentary study with data collection tool using recording systems
