- This research was conducted with the aim to determine: (a) Factors that affect the productivity of pepper in the District of East Belitung, (b) The amount of income of farmers in the district of East Belitung pepper. (c) The level of technical efficiency, allocative efficiency and economic efficiency of farming in the district of East Belitung pepper. This study uses primary data with 40 samples of respondents. The method of analysis used is descriptive analysis, multiple regression analysis with estimation methods Ordinary List Square (OLS). Results showed that pepper production in the district of East Pacific Islands affected by the land area has not been produced, the land area has been produced, the number of young plants, the number of generating plants, organic fertilizer, urea fertilizer, fertilizers TSP, KCl fertilizer, herbicides, labor and employment outpouring of tin . Pepper farmers' income in the district of East Belitung an average of Rp 15,346,998 per year with an average area of 2.4 hectares. Technical efficiency obtained 32.5% of farmers who have achieve the efficient level in pepper farming while 67.% Pepper farmers have not reached the level of technical efficiency. Allocative efficiency are not yet efficient means of production are urea, KCl fertilizer and labor, while an inefficient means of production is an organic fertilizer, TSP fertilizer and herbicides. Economic efficiency is achieved when the production reached the level of technical efficiency and simultaneously achieve the price or allocative efficiency.
