  • This research aims to identify one of supporting strategy that use by the organization in order to gain efficiency and effectifity and also the suitability those strategy with organization strategy. One of organization strategy is outsourcing strategy. As a non-profit organization that works as natural gas plant operator, PT Badak NGL required to make efficiency to survive among the industry. The kind of strategy that used by PT Badak NGL is manpower outsourcing. This research using descriptive qualitative approach with case study research design on PT Badak NGL, Bontang. The chronology of the study begins by analyzing the organizationâ��s strategy through analysis of the external environment and internal environment and then presented through the SWOT matrix. Further analysis is to analyze the generic strategy to determine the suitability of the organizationâ��s strategy. Then evaluate the outsourcing strategy by considering three aspect: cost, quality and risk. The results of this study indicate that use outsourcing strategy as a strategy that support the organizationâ��s generic strategy has appropriate and the evaluation of outsourcing strategy indicate that the organization can reduce the operational cost and also achieving the best performance.
