- The sector of supplier spare parts industry and tools or now more called with the oil and natural gas services company that one of petroleum supportive companies activity and natural gas. As the national supporting company, of course took part in participating pushing economic development in Indonesia. This industry had big enough profit which received profit-sharing between the services recipient company and service executive company. PT. Cakra Petrokindo Utama was the object in the research as moving in upstream industry for service provider of petroleum and natural gas. Facing the competition in industry that involved the company must use strategy to maintain the company position and surpassed or competed with those competitor. The company must apply strategy management that was exact in managing company. To carry out the field development writer's efforts carried out two stages to analyze the company's strategy management, such as evaluation and formulation. The evaluation stage identified the condition of the latest company to carry out the processing towards of strategy that will be made to be alternative at the time of the strategy formulation. Processing data of evaluation and formulation was received in a primary and secondary manner. Evaluation stage identified the company's strategy from the aspect of the external environment, competition, and internal. Whereas the formulation stage had three stages in his execution, such as first, input stage is consisted of Eksternal Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE), Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM), and Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE)
