  • This research was aimed at (1) identifying the erosion level on land unit at Garang Hulu Sub Watershed based on modeling result, (2) identifying the total rate of erosion of Garang Hulu Sub Watershed based on modeling result and its verification with the actual erosion based on data from SPAS observation, (3) identifying the types of land rehabilitation and conservation appropriate for the erosion treatment at Garang Hulu Sub Watershed. The conclusions formulated based on the result of this research is ( The method of erosion prediction employed Modified Universal Soil Loss Equation (MUSLE). The result was then validated and compared to the actual erosion obtained from the result of the observed sediment conversion into total erosion using sediment delivery ratio. Statistical analysis was applied to examine the accuracy level of MUSLE method in erosion prediction. 1) In land unit at Garang Hulu Sub Watershed area a massive erosion occurred at the land unit with residential area development, while a minor erosion occurred in land use in the form of forest and rice field
