- 410 steel is a type of stainless steels. Surface treatment aims to improve material's properties. One of the surface treatment processes is ion implantation. The ion implantation process has some advantages, those are the process can be carried out at room temperature, so it does not cause changes in microstructure of the base material, and it can increase wear resistance and lower corrosion rate of the material.
