- Sosrowijayan Wetan is the second international tourism village after Prawirotaman which has been overcrowded and is not the one and only tourism village which tourists can choose while visiting Yogyakarta. This research is conducted to determine the priority of alternative tourism village than Sosrowijayan Wetan based on the preference of tourists who visit Sosrowijayan Wetan, and also to determine the development strategies to develop the chosen tourism village same as Sosrowijayan Wetan tourism village. The selected tourism villages in this research were Dipowinatan Tourism Village, Kadipaten Tourism Village, Cokrodiningratan Tourism Village, and Purbayan Tourism Village
