  • This study uses the approach of juridical normative research based on the research literature by using a study document to obtain secondary data. To complement the data obtained from the research literature in order to obtain primary data by conducting field research conducted direct interviews of respondents and informants in Sleman District Court and at the Faculty of Law at the University Gadjah Mada. Research about the Legal Protection of Good Faith Buyers (Case Study of Sleman District Court Decision No. 149/Pdt.G/2009/PN.Slmn) is a research that aims to determine the legal protection for good faith buyers both in legislation and implementation of good faith principle in Sleman District Court No. 149/ Pdt.G/ 2009/PN.Slmn. Based on field research that the implementation of legal protection for good faith buyers in Sleman District Court Decision number 149/Pdt.G/2009/PN.slmn has been carried out by the Judge. It can be seen in the decision to accept the judge deciding the demurrer of the defendant on the basis that the application of good faith in purchase transactions of land and land with a building between Sudi Harjono as a seller to Hetti Natalia, and Patrik as a buyer, as well as the purchase transaction between Hetty Natalia as a seller to Nukman Muhammad has been executed by the parties, although there are those who feel disadvantaged from the transactions. In such cases, the seller and buyer in the transactions of land, land and buildings are good faith seller and buyer, so they shall be protected by law.
