- Utilization of the Internet media library will be able to answer the needs of the speed of information access and dissemination of information without boundaries for many users. One application that can be used by utilizing the internet media is the construction of the library website. Web sites that already exist need to be evaluated to obtain user feedback on the use of the library website. Input from users will be useful for further website development. The purpose of this study was to determine the usability (usability) School of Geography Library web site (lib.geo.ugm.ac.id) as well as to determine whether students feel the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of use of the Library School of Geography website. This study is based on an understanding of usability contained in the online dictionary as well as the Big Indonesian Dictionary which defines usability as avail, benefit, and the definition of usability according to ISO: 9241:11 (1998) Ergonomic Requirements for Visual Display Terminals With OfficeWork (VDT). Part 11: Guidance in Usability. International Standards Organization, London. This type of study is a quantitative study with a survey method. Sampling using random sampling methods. One hundred respondents in this study are faced with 11 questions questionnaire to evaluate the Library School of Geography website. The analysis showed that the Library of the Faculty of Geography web site is very useful for students of the Faculty of Geography. This means that the level of the library web site usability is considered very good. Effectiviness and efficiency factors significantly influence the Library web site usability. While the satisfaction factor had no significant effect on the library web site usability. This means that the level of satisfaction using the library web site, does not affect significantly the level of its usability.
