- Philosophy of Pancasila is a basic norm in Indonesian Nation economic activity. The economy of Pancasila as its derivation becomes the spirit for economic development and ideally becomes reference in all economic activities developing at policy level and society activity. Concept of Philosophy of Pancasila in practical level seems to be a textual symbol because the economic development is even getting far from those fundamental values. Tin, as a nonrenewable and irreplaceable natural resource, has been exploitatively managed by putting aside the attaching values in the state ideology. This research wanted to trace the ongoing tin character, give critical analysis, and recommend a new perspective for the Philosophy of Pancasila implementation in a new tin structuring. This research is a philosophy research that has a qualitative characteristic by taking actual problem topic, i.e. tin economy in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. It was a literature research enriched with data collection from various sources, i.e. interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive, interpretative, historical continuity, abstraction, and heuristic. This research yielded some important findings.
