Daftar Isi:
  • Seed apart the fence own the high oil content. Some research mention in one seed flesh consisted in [by] about 30 % oil ( Straight Jatropha Oil) and 70 % the rest in the form of dregs which can be used as [by] a rich manure [of] nitrogen.(Priyanto, 2007). From result analyse the proksimat seed apart, obtained [by] a rate irrigate the seed apart equal to 48.06% ( bb), protein rate 18.88 % ( bk), fat rate ( 46.25)% bk, dusty rate 2.62 % bk, carbohydrate 32.25 % harsh bk fibre and 15.10 %. Pursuant to this result [is] inferential hence that seed apart to represent the very potential substance to be used as oilfield. Process the intake [of] castor oil [done/conducted] with the method of extraction screw press (expeller pressing / screw press). Warm-Up method [done/conducted] consisted of [by] 3 treatment, that is warm-up by blansir ( dikukus) use the aqueous vapour, warm-up by oven and warm-up by seed singeing so that seed become hot enough for the diekstraksi of. Parameter perceived [at] research [is] rendemen and colour . The result of the research shows that initial heating of jatropha curcas seed will gives significant effect to yield (base on varian analysis on level test 1 %). The best of initial heating before extraction is done by baking in the oven along 60 minutes produce the highest oil yield 16.41 %, then ovened along 40 minutes 16. 23 % and 20 minutes 16.22 %. Initial hating by steamed produce yield 12.11 % (20 minutes), 12.02 % (40 minutes), 11.98 % (60 minutes). Initial heating by boiled produce lowest yield, that is 11.07 % (20 minutes), 11.00 % (40 minutes), and 10.98 % (60 minutes). The colour of oil resulted in ovening is clear brown, by the steaming is clear and by the boiling is clear white.
