  • Accumulation of rubbish which always increases in the filter water entering the turbine becomes a problem that needs our attention and promptly resolved. Because the disorder affects the flow of waste water due to stress product quality and stable electric power from the MHP (microhydro power plant). Starting from these problems, we designed a system of automatic trash rack tool-based IC (integrated circuit) ATMega 8535. The initial part of the study is the manufacture of mechanical systems and manufacturing of electronic circuit consisting of a minimum system microcontroller ATMega 8535 associated with the viewer and control buttons. The cycle time of the mechanical movement of garbage collection can be set according to the desired time. Accumulation of garbage time in the field survey is the basis for a tool change cycle time. Final stage is a testing tool in the modeling scale, the stage was taken data measurement test instrument function of the mass of garbage and waste discharge. Automatic trash rack model can work with the ability to lift the mass of garbage maximum of 150 grams with the movement of the tool cycle time from 35 seconds to 300 seconds. Waste discharge variation is 28cm3/minute, 48cm3/minute and 74cm3/minute with waste material type floats.
