  • The aim of this study is to determine the form of juridical responsibility, the form of legal protection and legal consequences that must be carried out by PT Pertamina (Persero), Central Java and DIY marketing area if the legal protection given to consumers is not in accordance with the Law. No 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection. The method used in the study is normative law juridical approach. This research was done by researching library materials which is called secondary data library research. Meanwhile, to complement the data was also investigated on field (field research). The results were analyzed by using qualitative analysis method. Based on the research finding it can be known that there are some problems in general that are deficiencies in the distribution system implemented by PT Pertamina (Persero) Regional Marketing Central Java and DIY. In the form of accountability has made some effort to ensure, but still there are some weaknesses. In the form of juridical consequences performed by the PT Pertamina (Persero) region of Central Java and DIY would be sanctions that are treated by the gas station alone. In fact the manager is the main gas distribution company PT Pertamina (Persero) region of Central Java and DIY. Therefore, the juridical consequences of consumer protection should be given both parties PT Pertamina (Persero) region of Central Java and DIY and the gas station). Based on this finding it can be conclude that the PT Pertamina (Persero) region of Central Java and DIY have not made the maximum effort towards protection if consumers have problems.
