  • Observations of phenomena or caused by volcano activity in the region of Indonesia is required. The danger of volcano activity are eruptions, hot lava, and the danger will hot clouds. The danger can befall life on the surrounding communityif not known at an early stage. The monitoring system of volcano activities in Indonesia is still conventional and mono system and has not been fitted with an integrated monitoring system, it was proven that the loss of life caused by the volcano activity that suddenly without any prior warning. In addition, the monitoring system must be able to deliver information quickly and accurately will help to prevent more victims. Therefore, the development of early detection system based on an integrated sensor network is a must to be developed, where the system has the ability to remotely obtain information and results can be accessed easily. Early detection systems of Semeru volcano activity that will be developed, using the approach method integrates wireless sensor network (comprising: sensing unit, telemetry unit and web server), is used to record, monitor and evaluate the status of the online activity Semeru volcano remotely and can provide more accurate data acquisition. In addition, the surrounding community of Semeru volcano to monitor in activity status by simply sending an SMS (sort message service) to a central data processing systems (functioning as a server and provider) as well as observation post Semeru volcano activity may receive information online and up to date
