- <p>Synthesis of Cd(II) ion ionic imprinted (Cd(II)-IIP) amino-silica hybrid was carried out through solgel process followed by ionic imprinting process using Cd(II) ion as a template with 3-aminopropyltrimetoxyslane compound (APS). The characterized ionic imprinted material covered identification of functional groups and specific surface area. Synthesis of Cd(II)-IIP used water-ethanol mixture media with volume ratio of 1 : 1 resulted bonding and releasing of an optimal template ion.
