- <p>The simple analytical framework based on the oscillator representation method (ORM) for the investigation of electronic properties of two interacting electron quantum dot in an external magnetic field is reviewed A simple representation of the energy spectrum for a circular-shape two-electron quantum dot GaAs-based trapped in two-dimensional harmonic potential in the presence of an external magnetic field is given. In Galium Arsenide (GaAs), a magnetic field have a negligible effect on Zeeman spin splitting and<br /> spin orbit interaction since it is much more effective in changing the orbital energy rather than in changing the Zeeman spin splitting. These result in the important point that Coulomb interaction can be treated exactly. Coulomb forces give rise to the effective confining potential for the relative motion of the two interacting electron that can be obsen.ed by the change of its ground state.</p>
