- This thesis discusses customs law enforcement on illegal imported food and drink products circulation in West Kalimantan. The research problem is customs law enforcement on the circulation of food and drink products were imported illegally in West Kalimantan. Another problem is the politics of criminal law in dealing with the circulation of customs food and drink products were imported illegally was considered inappropriate. This study is an empirical and normative research analyzed qualitatively based on data from field research and literature. The research is conducted in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Method of determining the resources is with purposive sampling. From the research results, the writer concluded that the customs law enforcement on the circulation of food and drink products in West Kalimantan is very minimal due to legal technical problems such as interpretation and abuse of Border Trade Agreement Indonesia-Malaysia 1970 (BTA). It is also known that the politics of criminal law is less precise because there are many conflicts of interest among law enforcement officers, local governments, and society. Consequently is the custom law enforcement is always opposed to the economic situation of the community.
