- This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the moderation effect of information asymmetry, organizational commitment, and organizational strategy on the relation between implementation of incentive based compensation and performance. Research sample were 57 middle managers in services and manufacturing company in Jogjakarta. This study obtains data from responses to questionnaire survey. Statistical methods to test the research hypothesis was regression analysis. The results explaining that incentive based compensation positively affect managerial performance and information asymmetry strengthen the effect of incentive based compensation on managerial performance, while organizational commitment and organizational strategy are not significantly impact the implementation of incentive based compensation on managerial performance.
