- The incidence of sore throat are frequent post operatively with endotracheal tube. This effects occur due to irritation, mucosal damage and inflammation of the airways as a side effects of gel as a lubricant, laryngoscopy or due to the pressure of endotracheal tube balloon. The objective of this research is to study the effectiveness of ketamine gargle 40 mg compare with benzydamine HCl gargle 0,15 % prior to induction, to reduce sore throat post surgery with endotracheal tube, using the design of double-blind randomized control trial. The study will conducted in GBST RSUP Dr. Sardjito and other allied teaching hospitals. Subjects are patients who undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia, female and male, age 18-50 year, ASA physical status I and II. Subjects are classified into two groups
