- At present time, there are many hospitals which still have no access to the technology of 3-dimensional of ultrasonography (USG 3D) technological since it is still expensive. This research aims to find a simple method of 2D transform and 3D visualization techniques by making use of available image processing application. It is expected that such image processing system can assist the hospitals. A preliminary study on generating 3D ultrasound images that obtained from 2D USG image through time lapsed image capture technique has been carried out. Multiple USG images obtained while the transducer moved from initial position to final position was recorded. Then the images were reconstructed to be a 3D ultrasound image using volume rendering and surface rendering method. This image processing and reconstruction was carried out using software 3D DOCTOR dan ImageJ
