- The data are processed into an information plays an important role as a tool to support decision making. The role is very dominant in many areas without exception in the field of personnel. In this study, the researchers intend to apply the concept of data warehouse by using historical transaction data and staffing data to find useful information for the leaders at the Regional I National Civil Service Agency. By utilizing techniques On Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) is expected to be known to the spread of the Civil Service based on the analysis of education, class, regional, agency and geographic.Research on the data warehouse that focuses on business areas with the use of OLAP is mostly done by the researchers. In this study, focusing on objects in the field of mutation research personnel as well as how to build a data warehouse stages in detail revealed in this study to be able to produce an information in accordance with the needs of its users. To apply the data warehouse used SSIS features found in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 software. And to make SSAS OLAP analysis used features found in Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Transaction data and historical data through two stages of employment with the ETL process will generate a data warehouse database. ETL process to perform phase I data extraction process will produce a data staging area I. ETL process to perform the second stage of transformation and will generate clean data staging area II. Database staging area II is a source of data for a data warehouse. Factors affecting the successful establishment of a data warehouse is a translation of the definitions of the terms of a research problem because it will determine the components of data warehouse model. By providing a query command in the data warehouse can help the leaders to get the information in the form of the distribution of employees according to the type of space, according to its geographical location, by gender.
