- This research aims to analyze the role of government spending programs capture fisheries and aquaculture to fishery production in Bangka Belitung Islands province. The data used in this study is secondary data from 7 counties / cities in Bangka Belitung Islands province period 2006-2010. Analysis method used is regression analysis using panel data, which is a combination of time series data and cross section data. The model estimated with panel data regression then tested the model specifications with classic assumption test to obtain the best model and test the assumptions of classical approach to capture fisheries production function and aquaculture production function. The results showed the role of government spending programs capture fisheries are significant and positive effect in the long run against the production of capture fisheries, while government spending programs had no significant effect of aquaculture on aquaculture production in both the short and long term in Bangka Belitung Island province period 2006-2010.
