- Study to the attractiveness of fruit flies (Bactrocera.spp) to the combination of colored traps was conducted in the field research KP4 from September 2010 until January 2011 to know the effect of color to attract fruit flies Bactrocera spp. .The complete randomized factorial design with 16 replications and two factors were used in this experiment. The first factor was trap color (red, yellow, green and transparent). The second factor was cotton color (red, yellow, green and uncolored). The result showed that the treatments effect the fruit fly attractiveness significanty. The highest average number of fruit flies trapped was found in yellow trap with bait green colour (230.56 flies), and the lowest average number fruit flies trapped was found uncolor trap with colorless bait (28.19flies). Besides that, The research indicated that there were three species of fruit flies trapped : B. carambolae, B. papayae and B. umbrosa
