  • The problem that arise on cocoa plantations in Indonesia is the difficulty of obtaining a healthy cacao seedlings with good performance in large numbers for the rejuvenation of cocoa cropping. In addition, cocoa seedlings often attacked by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides causal agent of leaf spots disease. Arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi (AMF) is an alternative method to get the cocoa seedlings with good performance and to reduce the intensity of leaf spot disease. This study aimed to determine the effect of AMF from several locations cocoa plantations on the island of Java on the growth of cocoa seedlings and intensity of leaf spot disease. The study was conducted from December 2010 until July 2011. The main ingredient of this research is mass production zeolite with JMA inoculants originating from Serandu, Kulon Progo (S1)
