- Background: The use of science and technology in the healthcare field continues to grow dynamically in accordance to the development, one of them is the utilization of health information systems development. With a various forms and it�s utilization, information system has become an integrated part of program activities. Utilization of a dynamic information system is expected to provide output that can be utilized as a reference in order to support policy-making. Objectives: Developing environmental health information system with the support of geographic information systems in Health Centers Ngadirojo Wonogiri. Methods: This study was a qualitative descriptive study with action research approach, This was in accordance with the opinion that action research is one qualitative research methods commonly used in the development-oriented information system due to the change. This study took place in Ngadirojo health centers, and the objects were taken from the overall results of the identification information processes either in the form or information structure and procedures of information on environmental health monitoring activities, including management of the parties, executing the program and clinic personnel associated with the environmental health activities.
