- Concrete tile is a composite material compiled of fine aggregate held together by cement matrix that fills the space between particles to form one entity, one of the properties of concrete roof tile is brittle which is less good in restraining flexural strength. In this study the author wants to use the pumice stone and coconut coir fiber waste for manufacturing fibrous lightweight tile using pumice stone and coconut coir fiber tiles that become lighter and stronger. The purposes of this study are to investigate the characteristics of fibrous lightweight concrete roof which has been produced, covering properties appear, bending loads, the absorption and permeation of water, to investigate the exact composition of the mixture to make fibrous lightweight concrete roof tile, to investigate the economic feasibility of the manufacture fibrous lightweight concrete roof tile business.
