  • The freedom of using of frequency 2.4 GHz as stated in Ministerial Decre No.2 The Year Of 2005 brings a positive impact in the development of data communications and Internet services with wireless as its media in Indonesia. This development has not been followed by good management or coordination in using the frequency 2.4 GHz, particularly in outdoor use, which in turn raises a new problem, the problem is the destructive interference between 2.4 GHz WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) devices that result in decreased quality of data transfer from device WLAN 2.4 GHz. In this research, the activity of measuring latency value of Internet Backhaul Link system is done, the system consists of the Access Point located in Bukit Pathuk, Yogyakarta and 12 stations scattered in the region of Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta region of southern, eastern, central, north and west. Latency data obtained and logging in graphical form, to make it easier in analyzing them and to be readable any time. WLAN 802.11b interference levels in Yogyakarta, especially the middle or the city is already high. Fifty percent (50%) from the 12 stations has a High interference levels or a set of six stations, and 33.33% have a Medium level of interference, and 16.67% have a Low interference level Connectivity level also varies
