- Quality of service in the hospital is a unique phenomenon because the dimensions and the indicator may differ among those involved in health care. For nurses, health care can be achieved when nurses carry out health care standards established hospitals. Standard of health services will be accomplished if the nurses have a high commitment to the hospital, because one's commitment to the organization have a direct and positive relationship with the work expected of providing quality services. In addition the organization should pay attention to the work climate, because the work environment will create positive feelings that would later bear the involvement of nurses to help achieve the hospital. The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of organizational work climate and commitment organization towards the quality of health services of the nurses in Haji Adam Malik General Hospital Medan (HAMGHM). The samples of the research are 248 persons who work as nurses in inpatient installation in HAMGHM. In collecting the data the researcher used three kinds of scale, i.e. the quality of health service scale, organization work climate scale, and organizational commitment scale. The results of double regressive analysis show that both organization work climate and organizational commitment altogether could become a predictor to estimate 12.8% with (R 2 ) as 0.358 (p=0.000). Working environment organization can be predictor towards the quality of health services with effective contribution as 2.2% (p= 0.180). Organizational commitment can be as predictor towards the quality of health services with the effective contribution as 10.6% (p=0,000).
