- This paper planned to examine independent variables (gender, income, online purchase lifestyle and performance risk) that significantly predict purchase intention cinema tickets at the Empire XXI Yogyakarta. In this study, there is age variable that do not significantly predict purchase intention cinema tickets at the Empire XXI Yogyakarta. Data collected using questionnaire to 150 respondents, those who ever watch movies at Empire XXI Yogyakarta and never use M-Tix yet. Questionnaire consist of: 3 demographic characteristics questions, they are age, gender and income, 10 online purchase lifestyle questions, 5 performance risk questions, and 4 purchase intention questions. Using multiple regression analysis, this research found variables that significantly predict purchase intention: gender, income, online purchase lifestyle and performance risk. While age variable did not significantly predict purchase intention. Independent sample t-test resulted that men more interested in buying M-Tix than women. The higher one�s income level the higher purchase intention on M-Tix. While someone who has high online purchase lifestyle and low performance risk are interested in buying M-Tix.
