- The research was into the work of this thesis aims to find out how the licensing policies on foreign capital investment can be applied properly and running smoothly in the Yogyakarta special region. Acquisition of the data used in the writing of this data is written in the form of books, journals and other relevant literature as well as supported by the results of the interviews with resource. The results showed that Foreign capital investment coming into Indonesia still encountered many obstacles, Barriers include licensing policies vary so that investment resulted in a convoluted bureaucratic licensing process and take a relatively long time. Not that alone, the current policy can be applied with effective yet because there are a few reasons. The reason that among them are: the authority of the Central Government agencies as well as areas of mutual attraction, the readiness of the Government in organizing the process of licensing investing still not meet the standards of qualification, and the location of the object of the investment is still limited due to the use of the land of Yogyakarta Kingdom. The conclusion of the results of the research that was changed into the shape of this thesis shows that there are many shortcomings, still regarding the licensing of investment policy has been applied at this time so that not to show the maximum results.
