- Production aren flour is the fluid waste exceed the regulation directly throw to the water body as in Bendo river in Klaten, it causing environmental pollution. Aren liquid waste source from aren plants that have high organic content dan cow manure is good substrat for biogas production because of the methanogen bacteria to metan gas production within stomatch of ruminansia animal. So The combination f those both can be utilize to produce biogas as an alternative to reduce the use of LPG. C/N rasio value of aren liquid waste is 15 and need to mixture another raw material with higher C/N ratio such as cow manure is 24. An batch anaerobic reactor was used in this experiment. There are 5 variation composition of aren liquid waste and cow manure in this experiment which is 1 : 0,25, 1: 0,5, 1: 0.75, 1: 1 dan 1: 1,25. Sample was filled to the 14 liter capacity of digester by 11 litre of waste mixture and 3 litre of water. Then incubated at 25C � 30C during 50 days. Parameter measured was the volume of biogas, methan gas, C/N ratio of the mixture, dry material (% DM) and dry organic material (%ODM), pH and temperature. methan resulted analyse everyday by gas holder. The consentration of methan was tested using Gas Chromatography (GC). The experiment result showed that the best composition of cow manure an aren liquid waste was 1:1,25 produce 58 litre biogas and 42%. methane gas. If applied to the industry scale it can reduce the use of 105 tube LPG/month with 3 kg of capacity. The other benefition of aren liquid waste utilization can reduce the use of water and cow manure in biogas production.
