  • Tanjung Priok is an area known as the suburb in Jakarta who have a hard enough life as it is a port area. On 14 April 2010 clashes between communities in the Tanjung Priok district Koja Satpol PP associated with the tomb of the eviction plan "Mbah Priok". One of the major cases that have occurred in Tanjung Priok before Mbah Priok incident was in 1984 or the more famous "Priok Incident" is a case that exposes bloody Priok Muslim community with the government In fostering peace and conflict resolution all parties need to be involved in order that peace can be lasting. Community participation is the basis for the continuity of work in order to develop peace. Community participation can be used to sustain community participation, government officials, religious leaders, the role of women, adolescents, youth and other community elements. The role of all stakeholders are also involved the religious elite. This study aims to discuss what is being done to maintain peace religious elite that occur between people who clashed with the government after a peace deal is happening. In addition, this study for elite scholars mengurainkan role in building peace, and also why they play a role or no role in the peace This study used descriptive qualitative methods, through field research and literature study. Fieldwork was conducted by means of observation and interviews while the study of literature through a search of relevant literature The results of this study found that the religious elite has a role in Mbah Priokâ��s postconflict situations tomb although not optimal, the clergy plays a role in post-conflict situations as a mediator and healer. The role performed by the clergy has not been continuous and systematic. Factors that background for the role of religious elites in post-conflict situations Mbah Priok is a sense of moral responsibility toward the people and also the demand from the conflicting parties and other concerned parties to this conflict.
