- This thesis studies the condition of female priests carriers at Gereja Protestan Maluku (GPM) in the implementation of gender equality among the sex heterogenism of servants of God. It does not discuss about the right and wrong of the Christian dogma of gender equality instead of the implementation of the dogma in the collegial leadership that run by all the presbiters in this institution, include the female priests as the integral part of the implementation of gender equality in this institution based on The Holy Bible. This study purposed to find the causes of the gender discrimination and its impacts to the female priests carrier in the church (GPM). Theory used in this study is Anthony Giddens Theory of Dualism of Structure that analizes the subordination of female priests in GPM by the process of construction of the churchers and the services practicers preception that simultanuously creates the female priests conciousness of the discrimination that rejecting them in their carriers dialecticaly and produce agencies to change The Second Sex Status stereotyped on them for the The Holy Bible based identity as the action of the structure reconstruction to gain the equalibrium of the whole world and the messages the church spread around in their missions about the equality between men and women. This study uses the qualitative method and phenomenological approches. Direct observation, documents study and interview with eigth informants used to collect data to get the informen understanding about the studied issues and to analize the study related phenomenons experienced by the informen to be concluded. The result of the research shows that GPM has implemented gender equality institutionally in its organization rules even there is not found any specific discussion about gender equality in the rules. Gender equlity deviations that causes types of discrimination to the female priests in GPM is not done by GPM as the institution but rather by personal and groups involved in collegial leadership. Numbers of female priests relize their discriminated conditions while some of them denied it and continuing the condition achieve their subordination as a logic consequention srengthen by patriarchy construction acculturated with the old interpretation prespective of The Holy Bible.
