- This thesis wants to show how the Southeast Asia region in responding to problems of human trafficking. One of organized transnational crimes which has increased record in Southeast Asia each year and serve targeted by addressing the phenomenon of human trafficking securitization. Unfortunately the implementation of human trafficking securitization in Southeast Asia has not been able to find appropriate solution to overcome the practice of human trafficking. The argument in this thesis wants to show that the implementation of human trafficking securitization in Southeast Asia is constrained by several factors such as social factors, economics and politics. Another obstacle which is no less important is the less maximum role of actors in the implementation of securitization of human trafficking in Southeast Asia. With a background overview of implementation of the securitization of human trafficking, this thesis argues that the human trafficking securitization implementation in Southeast Asia has failed.
