- The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between leptin level and Child-Pugh score in male liver cirrhosis patients. The hypothesis was there is a correlation between leptin level and Child-Pugh score in male liver cirrhosis patients. There were 42 male liver cirrhosis patients with age 18 th and above that. The patients were outpatients and inpatients in the intern ward of Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta. Data collecting by anamnesis, physical examination, abdominal ultrasonography examination, dan chemical blood test. Statistic method used was correlation analysis with Spearman test. The result of this study show a weak positive correlation between leptin level and Child-Pugh score in male liver cirrhosis patients which statistically significant (r=0,389
