  • Background : High mortality and malnutrition among children under five need to be evaluated to health services, especially nutrition services. Thigs that affect the quality of services including facilities, funding and human resources. To evaluated Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) services need to be evaluated against the human resources officer in particular characteristics of IMCI for health workers at the forefont in providing these services. Underlying this research to evaluate the quality of nutrition services by health care with IMCI approach in Jayapura District, Papua Province. Objective : To know the relationship between officer characteristics with nutrition services through IMCI approach in Jayapura District. Method : The study was analytical that used cross sectional design with quantitative method. Data were obtained through observation and interview using quetionnaire and checklist. Analysis used Mann withney and Spearman test. Result : The result of statistical test showed there was no significant association between education, type of training, other task and duration in occupation of IMCI staff and quality of nutrition service (p>0,05). There was assosiation between knowledge and age of IMCI staff and quality of nutrition service (p<0,05). Conclusion : Nutrition of services to the IMCI approach has worked well at District of Jayapura. To improve the quality of the server IMCI training is still needed for all health workers.
