- Background: Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) integrated with the health care system in hospitals such as medical records systems, billing management information systems, pharmacy systems, and hospital accounting systems. RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh has implemented the use of management information system of computer-based billing. Hospitals have adopted the INA-DRG for easy data entry to verify the verifier in patients Jamkesmas. Billing information system useful to overcome the delays in completing the claim payment and avoid accumulation of files. Use billing information system since applied until now has never been evaluated. Objective: To evaluate the use of information systems to increase service billing inpatients using Jamkesmas card at the RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh according to user perception. Method: This research is qualitative research with case study design. The Data collection used observation, document review, and depth interviews. Result: The users have not fully satisfied with the content of billing information system because it is still not complete. This is because there are still shortcomings that need to be updated as action codes and diagnoses that have not been adjusted for the implementation of the new handbook. Most of the data generated is not entirely accurate. Users satisfied with the format and ease of billing information systems. Most users are not satisfied with the billing management information system because there are those who use the data manually. The barriers that happened was the computer technical problems that often are there problems and have not developed information systems to demand action from the room to the relevant sections. Conclusion: the user satisfaction of information systems management in the inpatient billing there are still weaknesses that need to be improved for a better performance.
