- This study aims (1) to determine the objective conditions of society life in the village whose inhabitants Kapiteran majority in everyday life is a farmer who worked the rice fields, the fields and plantations as well as farmers' income is not necessarily just depending on season and on certain days (Tuesday and Friday) to traders in both markets to sell agricultural produce or sell food / snacks market of processed, (2) the effect of remittances on economic resilience of the family and (3) to determine the effect of family economic security of regional resilience. And analyze the reasons for the village-city migration, analyzing the utilization of remittances, to analyze the effect of remittances on Family Economic Security and analyze and analyze the influence of Resistance Against the Family Economic Security of Regional and National Security. This study used a qualitative approach, in order to describe and interpret the meaning an event in the context of the social sciences. This study uses in-depth interviews through the selection of key informants who were considered competent in this study. In order to complement in-depth interviews, the researchers conducted observations on society in the research, study literature in enriching the research findings. With qualitative studies which records all events to provide a thorough and complete description. The results obtained that the effect of remittances on rural-urban migration of family economic resilience in order to support the resilience of the region to identify the forms of remittances received by rural urban origin / migrants. The findings of the research shows that remittances is a form of engagement and relevance of population rural-urban migration by region of origin. Villagers Kapiteran Sub Pecan Purworedjo District which states that all forms of remittances is an important indicator of social and economic life of society in addition to its recipients because it can boost the economy, especially the family left behind in the village of origin, also has a social impact and influence Dalan also increase the economic resilience of the family and supports the resilience of the region and national defense.
