- The study, titled "The function of the Government of Yogyakarta Special Region Tourism In Withdrawal Charges To Increase Revenue Region" is intended to determine the role of retribution how tourism in Yogyakarta Special Region in particular, managed by the Provincial Government of DIY in increasing revenue (PAD), as known DIY is one of the city known as the City Tourism in Indonesia. This research is between empirical research and normative legal research, meaning research that is based on field research that is equipped with library research. Later this study will be processed by using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on these results it can be concluded that the implementation (actuating) functions of the Provincial Government of Yogyakarta Special Region it is Tourism Levy Period of 2005-2010 have increased gradually. However still considered not able to increase the percentage of PAD can be seen from the results and achievement rates in value rupiah. The constraints caused by: first, juridical constraints
