- This study aims to find out two things. First, the factors that influence the implementation of Education and Training Government Procurement. Secondly, the performance management of construction activities as well as factors that influences the implementation of education and training of procurement of goods and services in performance improvement activities the management of construction services to the Public Works Department Purworejo District. The research method used was qualitative research. Research was conducted at the Public Works Department Purworejo District. Data collected through field research, observation and depth interviews to study subjects consisted of DPU officials Purworejo District, a provider of construction services, users of construction services, and official commitment maker. Data were analyzed qualitatively descriptive. The results of this study is, first, the factors that affect the implementation of education and training of government procurement of goods and services for officers or employees of the Public Works Department Purworejo District of faculty, facilities are still lacking, budget and organization of the organizers of the training. Implementation of training still needs to be improved in order to achieve good performance and maximum in the management of construction services. Second, performance management activities and procurement of construction services relative still not optimal. The implementation of the education and training conducted by the Public Works Department within Purworejo District, which is expected at the time of take over management of construction activities can run optimally. Recommendations from this research are: DPU Purworejo need to continue to strive to increase the quality of the management activities of construction services by engaging in intensive training, which is expected to actually make the manager of construction services that are reliable.
