  • In Indonesia, the usage of computer in private sector and government offices has shown a tremendous increased. General trend indicates that computer usage has penetrated in almost every aspect of business and non business activities, with no limits to either profit or nonprofit oriented company. Among the nonprofit oriented types of company that had utilize the use of computers is university. As computerization can influence work performences, this research aims to perceive the employeeâ��s motivation in receiving the implementation of computerization in university. Research is conducted at Widya Mandira Catholic University which has recently introducted the use of computer at waor place. A regression analyasis is performed to determine the factors motivating the computer usage are significantly affected by employeeâ��s expectation to the system changes in work process, individual interest to computer and provision of facilities by the university. Hence, it is suggested that university pays more attention to employees who has interest in computer by proving more computer.
